Action For Blind People "Action for Blind People is one of the largest charities in the UK providing free and confidential support for blind and partially sighted people in all aspects of their lives. We are dynamic and have a reputation for talking less and doing more. Driven by the needs of visually impaired people, we deliver what people say they need, not just what we think they need. Our mission is to inspire change and create opportunities to enable people with sight loss to have equal voice and equal choice."

Assist-IT - Assist-I.T. has an excellent reputation and a proven track record for delivering in-house courses to schools, colleges and libraries as well as the public and charitible sectors. Deafblind Scotland and Deafblind UK share a common vision:
A society in which deafblind people have the permanent support and recognition necessary to be equal citizens.
Our aims are designed to help us achieve this:

to help deafblind people in Scotland live as rightful members of their own communities and to encourage and support contact between deafblind people and sighted hearing people
to liaise with health and social service providers to make appropriate assistance available to deafblind people in Scotland
to work in partnership with statutory and other agencies to improve the quality of life of deafblind people
to raise awareness of both the needs and potential of deafblind people
to encourage provision of facilities, services and support for deafblind people

Doodle Pad - A simple drawing and coloring program which includes stamps (small pre-drawn pictures to color). Features include; 20 level undo facility; full screen drawing area; audio and text quick help; large buttons; paper color chooser; make your own stamps from pictures feature; make simple greeting cards feature; copy to other programs; copy and paste parts of pictures within Doodle Pad; shape tools; add text feature; rubber (eraser) tool; restore previous unsaved drawing facility; resize and rotate stamps and hundreds of new stamps in download packs available from our Web site.
